Here is what we know happened in anchor Basically, its a log.
Elijah docks into a small hanger, pulling himself out of his seat. His sniper lies against the panels of the small cockpit, as he picks it up, the familiar feeling of power fills his hands. He steps outside his small spacecraft, and he steps into the desolate hanger. An eerie feeling fills his spine, as he looks around.
Azahel, gripping tightly onto the throttle, slowly pulls the lever back, slowing down to a healthy speed, and docking onto a landing pad somewhere within Anchor 9. As he pulls himself out of the cockpit, he remembered why he came here. For treasures. It was always rumored the UNSC technology aboard Anchor 9 was vast, rich, and surely, wanted down on Earth.
Jack slides the magazine into its respective slot, slinging the Assault Rifle and grabbing his helmet. Fastening the strap around his chin, he taps in the security code to lower the ramp of the pelican. Stepping down slowly, he turns around as he watches another ship slowly dock.
Elijah gazes around the hanger, holstering his sniper, seeing no immediate danger. He keeps a steady hand on his secondary weapon.. and proceeds to walk towards a turbolift.
Jack raises his Rifle towards the ship as he backs towards the door leading further into the station. He flicks on his flashlight, waiting patiently for something to happen.
Jack says, "Halt! This station is property of the United Nations Space Command, identify yourself!"
Elijah is up aboard the Anchor 9, with a handgun in his hand, tightening its grip. The turbolift had taken him to a small hallway on the station... it is dark and seems uninhabited.
Jack steps up to the blast door, tapping in the override code command gave him and stepping into the next room.
Caleb wakes up from his dream. He doesn't remember seeing the ship in real life but he is haunted by it. Every day its the same dream. That ship is important but he does not know why. He rises from his bed in a slow manner at walks toward the porthole in his cell. He was taken prison a week ago by the UNSC for trespassing on one of their ships. He sees the large central ship looming in the distance. He gulps. Is this the end? Is he about to meet his creator?
Jack taps the button for the command floor, the turbolift beginning to zoom rapidly towards it. Jack widens his eyes as the door opens, and several small parasitic flood life run into the turbolift, jumping up and latching to his helemt and armor.
Jack says, "HOLY MOTHER OF CHRIST, HELP! OH DAMN, SOMEONE HELP, GAHSKGBjysvbUYgbdayioughdsiuds"
Elijah listens closely, the constant tapping on the metal floor stopping abruptly, as he listens to the ongoing battle.
Jack pulls the trigger on the Assault Rifle, sending bullets spraying across the room as more and more parasites crawl from every nook and crevice.
Azahel, equips his auto-rifle from behind his back. He turns the switch from safety mode. Before venturing into the unknown, he checks his jetpack, the one thing thats been with him his whole life. After adjusting the straps, he continues walking into the hallway
Jack continues to scream, dropping his assault rifle as the magazine empties. For anyone who could hear the battle, it suddenly goes silent.
Azahel notices the short, dying sound of static inside of his helmet radio. While walking forward, the sound increases, and it reaches the point of being intelligible sounds. A sound that was similar to a human. Azahel, knowing that only UNSC units can access this type of radio, runs towards the direction he thinks the sound is coming from, hoping it is not too late. He switches to his hand cannon, but it is too late. The radio cuts short.
Elijah tries to ignore the terrible sounds he had heard, of what sounded like human agony. He pursues down the dark corridor, instead of holding his handgun, he now holds his rifle.
Emily jogs around in the control room of her humble abode, gathering the appropriate material needed for today's raid. She glanced back out to the larger ship she was about to dock on, and swore under her breath. An unpleasant surprise was waiting for her on that ship if she just waltzed in through the front door. Time to come up with a half-assed plan..type...thing?
Caleb, still peering out of the window saw something happening outside of the Prisoner Carrying Ship. As his eyes adjust to the darkness of space, he realizes that a battle wages on outside of his cell. Yet he heard nothing. No screams. No explosions. Nothing. He watched as millions of tiny ships swam the UNSC base. He watches as explosions spray particles of destroyed space ship miles into space. As his stomach turns inside, he lays back down on his uncomfortable bed. Closing his eyes he awaits his fate.
Jack wasn't actually eaten by tiny flood parasites, but was latched onto by several of them, and is recuperating in a storage room.
Azahel tries to understand what had just happened. The sounds were like someone being attacked. But the question would be, who attacked him?
Caleb wakes up to the sound of banging. Beaten and broken, he raises himself from his bed. He looks towards the direction of the cell door. A large bulky man stood in the open doorway. This was it. Its time. At the man's beckoning, he rose up. Caleb slowly trudged towards the man, not wanting to see what is awaiting him. The burly man barked some order that Caleb could not understand. He asked for clarification but as response, the man shoved him onto the ground. Putting chains on him, the guard stood Caleb up and pushed him towards the door. Caleb looked around. He saw hundreds of other prisoners all chained up like him. They were all walking towards the main door that led to the Anchor 9. In despair, Caleb trudged forward.
Azahel continues trudging through the hallways, still shaken a bit from the occurrence. He takes a left turn, to a hallway filled with pipes, vents, and confusing, and twisted mechanisms.
Jack groans, standing back up slowly and raising his assault rifle and flicking the flashlight on the end to "ON." He slowly begins to step back to the door leading into the main hall, ready for whatever is waiting.
Caleb hears a loud crash and is knocked aside as the entire ships lurches to the right.
Azahel takes a break near the pipes, leaning against the wall. He removes the auto rifle from his back, and begins inspecting its detail. Such a beauty.
Caleb's eyes widen immensely as a large creature bolts down the corridor. He does not know what it was. Some "thing" just dashed down the hall pushing down anyone in its way. Caleb dropped to his knees in fear.
Elijah sighs, annoyed, hearing the ruckus that occurs around him. He holds out his Sniper again, still remaining in the same, long, corridor.
Caleb opens one eye. He see the guards fleeing. Run away from the monster that tore the ship. The prisoners were alone. One of them pulled out a gun from a guard that stood in the pathway of the "thing". He shot the shackles that imprisoned him. Then he continued to free the others. Once he got to Caleb he paused. Almost like he recognized him. He called him something. Caleb could not make out the words for they were barely audible. Heshue? Maybe. He could not remember anything before last week. The guards said it was for the better that they wipe his memory. The unnamed prisoner broke Caleb's shackles and moved on, leaving Caleb with only more questions.
Caleb gets up and follows the others in the direction of the Anchor 9
Azahel hears the intense vacuum of space, realizing that a door has opened. He springs to action, after being in a dazed state of mind. The loud vacuuming noise begins to overwhelm his sense of hearing.
Emily Decides what her plan is, and its simple enough. She docked her ship away from the others and jumped out, looking for her glorious and elegant entrance.
Azahel thinks to himself, "It keeps getting better and better. This place is haunted," as he continues walking towards a door leading to a landing pad.
Caleb, unaware of his surrounding presses through the dark. He hears a sound. There are other people in the Anchor 9. He continues to trudge forward.
Jack walks down the hallway slowly, snapping his aim to every nook and cranny he passes. "Stay calm, check everywhere. I just have to get to the command deck."
Elijah is still waltzing through the good ol' hallway he hasn't moved from.
Jack steps up to the command deck door, lowering his Assault Rifle as he taps in the access codes command gave him, "This is Lance Corporal Morris, I'm about to enter command deck. As soon as I'm in I'll restart all station systems."
Elijah follows the hallway to another turbolift. this time it seems to be able to reach the above parts of the station, as he is in the depths and storage unit area. He pushes the button, as it opens, he steps inside, pushing another sequence of buttons to take him to the next floor.
Emily finally got to a safe looking area, and she stood at a random door she found. She stared intently at the number pad in front of her. Glaring daggers wouldn't help her though, so she pulled out a screw driver..But form where? I don't know. She lifted the hand with the screw driver, and smashed it in the number pad. Hopefully that worked. e w e
Azahel finishes punching in the code. As soon as the gas released, he was suddenly greeted by...
Jack opens the command deck, raising his Assault Rifle and dashing behind cover as a few magnum rounds ring out, hitting around him. He raises the Assault Rifle, letting out a small burst towards where he believes the shots came from.
Caleb walks around the corner and sees a door opening. Smoke poured out. Beyond the door stood a figure. A roughly tall man with large helmet on. Cabeb did not know what to do or say. The figure raised his firearm.
Azahel eyes the medium size dark figure down. He switches on his helmet flashlight, attempting to get a closer look.
Caleb sees the man reach towards his helmet and turns on a flashlight. A bright light shines in his face. Cabeb was caught off guard. Spending his time in the dark and all of a sudden this light blinds him. He closed his eyes and shielded them with his hands. Eventually his eyes adjusted and he looked at the figure once again.
Elijah walks towards the exit door from the turbolift, before he sees a room filled with blinding smoke and he can hear echoes of gunfire. He sighs hopelessly before cautiously maneuvering around the smoke.
Azahel notices the uniform of the figure after turning on the light. Its a prisoner! Quickly, he exclaims, "Hault! Do not move, or be fired upon by order of the UNSC!"
Caleb, freezes.
Jack stands up in time to get pounced by the charging flood, the remains of a tattered officer's uniform lay on the deranged creature. He winces as it rakes its claws across his face, worming his arms under the ex-officer and shoving it off, reaching down to his belt for a sidearm. Jack rolls to the side, pulling the sidearm from its holster and flicking the safety off, aiming it shakily at the infected human as it begins to sprint at him again. Jack pulls the trigger three times, two of the bullets hitting the flood directly, it finally goes limp, collapsing to the floor. Morris lays there, breathing heavily.
Elijah follows the sounds of the familiar screams of the flood, racing through smoke filled hallways, the outlines of many deformed figures appearing close by. One of the terrible creatures grabs hold of him, and tackles him to the ground.Elijah struggles, but manages to pullout his small handgun from its holster, firing several rounds blindly into the creature's face.
Caleb, in a moment of desperation tries to shove the man and dash forward but the man expertly maneuvered around him. After being pushed to the ground, Caleb lies on the ground. The person grabbed Caleb's hands but froze. He glimpsed the strange markings along Caleb's arm. He apparently recognized them. "Heshue?" he muttered under his breath.
Emily jumps past the half open door she broke, grabbing her tool along the way. Once inside she scratched her head and kicked the door shut.
Jack walks over to the control panel, and begins tapping away. All around the station, the emergency lights begin to turn off, leaving the station in momentary darkness. A robotic voice becomes audible, "Reactivating all station systems, ending emergency lockdown."
Elijah scrambles off, sprinting down the halls past several flood and questionable creatures of origin, making his way to the sound of people.
Azahel lets go of the mysterious figures hands' about to have a moment of reconnection. Before he could say anything, strange deformed figures appear from the mist down the hallways.
Lights suddenly flick on, revealing the mysterious figures.
Elijah holds out his rifle, aiming down the hallway at several large-sized creatures. He pulls the trigger in rapid succession, the semi-automatic fire penetrating several of the parasitic corpses.
Azahel quickly pulls out his auto rifle, and begins blaring gunfire. Surprised at how easily killed the creatures are, he continues shooting, but in vain. The ongoing wave of creatures seemed never ending.
Elijah follows a familiar sound of gunfire down only a few remaining corridors, and continuously runs forward, before turning the corner, he pulls out his handgun in the event of surprise assaults.
Azahel continues firing, intill the magazine empties out. Having no time to reload, he runs for it, down the empty corridor, pulling his old friend with.
Elijah follows the patter of footsteps, turning several corners before running into more Flood, shooting himself a small cutout in the masses of Hell.
Caleb tries to prove his worth to the others by running down the corridor and stealing a automatic rifle. Returning to the beastly attack, he opens fire.
Jack reactivated all primary systems, ending the emergency lockdown. This means lights. And running plumbing! It also means all sealed doors become unlocked, allowing the flood to travel freely amongst the ship.
Azahel continues firing at the horde, until he runs out of ammo. Not wanting to waste his hand cannon, he switches to a combat knife, that would never be used on The Flood.
Emily freezes when the lights turn on, who befuq almost ruined Melail's cover?? No matter, its time for action! She walked through the next security type door and checked her surroundings, looking mostly for the vent she planned to crawl through so she didn't have to use much of her equipment.
Elijah pulls out his last mag for his pistol, before accidentally dropping it. Though he attempts to reach back for it, a massive swarm of parasitic forms scramble around, losing his mag. He dashes forward. The hordes were weak, but massive in numbers.
Azahel runs through a corridor that would lead to a bridge outside. He makes sure his jetpack is ready, and punches in a code quickly. The airlock slowly wheezed open, and he stepped outside.
Jack widens his eyes at the cameras, moving over to the station-wide intercom and speaking into it, "Attention, uh, people. This is Lance Corporal Mason Morris, I can view every camera on this station."
Elijah shouts out, "Well, help us, dammit!"
Azahel skids to a halt before jet packing. The microphone actually works? He looked for a camera of any sort, to see if anyone was actually watching.
Jack moves back over to the cameras, continuing to talk, "Get away from the barracks, that whole section of the ship is infested! If you ca- Hold on... How many people are here besides me?"
Emily frowns at the loud voice, "Oh golly, please don't see me" She whispers to herself (maybe) as she sneaks into a hallway.
Elijah keeps on running around infested corridors, before reaching the same turbolift he had seen last time. He made a complete circle. He slams the button on the button, bringing the elevator down to a familiar 'ding.'
Jack continues speaking, "Make your way to the comman- HOLY -blam!-, WHAT IS THAT!?"
Azahel looks back, before jetting to the other side of the anchor. He notices that all the flood are retreating. Why?
Jack is still speaking, "If you're alive and on this bridge, make your way to the command deck now. I'll be waiting." Jack cuts the com, raising his Assault Rifle and raising it towards the command room entrance.
Elijah flings himself inside the elevator, terrified at the prospect of Flood making into his closed space. The elevator door closes, and he sits inside, pressing a series of buttons that lead upward. "Where the hell is the command deck!?"
Emily sweats drops. "Please say where that is!!!" She screeches a bit.
Caleb follows the others blindly for he does not know where the command deck is.
Jack waits at the entrance to the main control room of the command deck, keeping his rifle raised.
Elijah brings himself to an upper portion of the station, where the infectious bodies seem to be less in number. Some hallways seem to lack them entirely, and he proceeds to find signs scattered about the station.
Elijah follows some signs in a sort of direction to the Command Deck.
Caleb follows the man with the helmet from earlier to the command deck. Working up the nerves, he asks the man his name.
Azahel jets across a shattered bridge, landing onto a door. After doing the opening procedure for the doors, he strolls into a hallway. Following directional signs, Azahel manages to find the Command Center.
Elijah follows the same route, though slightly behind in time for safety measures. He walks towards the door, where he sees a UNSC soldier close to it.
Elijah approaches the soldier, but says nothing, before popping of his small engineering mask. His Sniper now lays holstered on his back, as he awaits some sort of response.
Azahel hears footsteps approaching from behind. He quickly turns around, expected a flood form. To his surprise, it is another human! Why are so many people on anchor 9?
"What are you doing here?"
Elijah sighs, before pulling out a small cigar, and lighting it. "I could ask you the same thing, considering what I last heard of this station was that it was abandoned.."
Azahel relaxes, and takes a lean against a nearby wall. "Been looking for money, figured no competition would be here. UNSC equipment is highly wanted down on earth."
"Seems like we both have the same intentions, then."
"Oh!"
Azahel reaches out his hand for a friendly handshake.
"Whats your name, partner?"
Elijah hesitantly grabs his hand, shaking it briefly. "Vemis is the name."
Jack lowers his gun, standing to full height, "Lance Corporal Morris. Are you guys the only ones?"
Azahel turns to the side inspecting the soldier.
Elijah shakes his head. "I have an eerie feeling that there's something else, or someone else crawling around this hellhole.
"The UNSC still owns this? What're you doing here?" -Freeman
I was sent here to restart ship systems. Word is there was a prison ship that was going to be moved here. Guys they were gonna make the prisoners do community service and clean up the place.
Elijah pulls the cigar out of his mouth for a second, "Something gives me the feeling your force's idea of 'community service' is to feed them to the Flood."
"Feed them? No. Make them fight."
"They wouldn't have lasted a minute. Not with those numbers. The halls were packed to the brim with those bastards."
"Guess they shouldn't have been criminals then."
"What should we do? They can't be beaten. We should destroy Anchor 9." -Freeman
"Is it possible though that the infection will still survive, even if the station explodes?"
"Look at the cameras. Check the mess hall by the barracks."
Azahel slowly walks into the camera room, with subtle hesitation. He takes a quick glance back, and inspects the television.
Elijah smirks, "Wouldn't a simple bullet at high velocity kill that thing?"
"Not sure... it seems like its gonna need alot of bullets to do anything." - Freeman
Jack stares at the screens as he speaks, "I have reason to believe it controls all flood on the station. They revolve around it. That's why the barracks are so infested. They're protecting it. It's a heart."
"Then why not just kill the small ones? A heart is useless without parts to pump blood into.' - Freeman
"A good thought."- Vernis
"Then I made an incorrect analogy. It's the brain, and everything else in the skull. You have get through the skull to destroy the brain. In this case, that skull is very, very thick."
"I for one, do not have enough ammunition to take on all of them." - Morris
Elijah pulls out his sniper from its holster on his back, reloading a fresh clip into it. "This may not hold much either, but I'm sure it'll put a dent in their forces. If we can find ammo about the ship, we could have enough."
Azahel, reaches onto his back and equips his hand cannon.
"Not sure if this will do something, but it looks like it will."
"You mean the ammo in the armory by the barracks? The same barracks near the mess hall?" - Jack
Elijah sighs, "Well, that's out of the question. What about explosives?"
Azahel Salome
Azahel perks up. "Energy barrels. Maybe if you shoot them, they'll explode?"
Elijah Schade
Elijah smiles at him, "Yeah. Energy barrels. Give or take a couple thousand flood are on this ship, if we set up the barrels in the correct location, for every bullet we could try and kill a dozen.
